About

The APTA Colorado Chapter, which first met in Denver in 1937 and was incorporated Feb. 17, 1953, is a professional, non-profit association composed of approximately 2,455 physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and physical therapist/physical therapist assistant students.

It is the mission of the APTA/Colorado Chapter to provide leadership in:

  • the identification and interpretation of trends and issues; communication; coordinated action;
  • sharing of ideas and professional collegiality;
  • and in the development and improvement of physical therapy education, practice and research.

The APTA/Colorado Chapter is a component chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association.
