Why do you want to serve in the above position?
I have always had an interest in governance, serving first as a school governance leader and in many roles within the APTA. However, my favorite by far is the House of Delegates. This is truly, "the room where it happens," and I feel that I can bring knowledge, experience, passion, time, and an ability to form connections to help the APTA and APTA Colorado continue to move forward. A second term will afford me increased experience and connections that will assist with continuity and development of the Colorado Delegation. Thank you for considering me for the privilege to serve as your Chief Delegate. “I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy.” – Rabindranath Tagore

Why do you feel qualified to serve in the above position?
I have served as a Delegate at Large for several years and am now in the middle of my first year as Chief Delegate. This experience has been so fascinating and eye-opening to how to work through and with the APTA as a whole. I have thus far been able to assist with 3 motions to the House of Delegates, 2 passing last year, and 1 in process for this year. My qualifications as a therapist with a diverse background of clinical skills and care environments also allows me to consider each motion from a wide lens. Additionally I have undergone additional leadership training with the APTA this year that will enable me to better serve APTA Colorado as Chief Delegate going forward.
