Accuracy of Video-Based Joint Range of Motion Estimates Research

The Regis University School of Physical Therapy invites you to participate in research titled “Accuracy of Video-Based Joint Range of Motion Estimates”. The purpose of this research is to determine the accuracy of visual estimation of joint range of motion when assessed via video, as may be performed during Telehealth visits. We are seeking licensed physical therapists and physical therapist assistants, as well as students within these respective professional programs, to complete a 5-10-minute survey. Short video clips that are consistent with a Telehealth setting are used for visual estimation.

Your decision to participate in this study is voluntary and there is no compensation. Your responses will be anonymous and IP addresses will not be collected. For current students your responses will not affect your status or grades in your educational program. There is no direct personal benefit from participating in this study, but results will help gauge accuracy of visual range of motion estimates when assessed via video, which may help advance provision of physical therapy services via Telehealth. There are no anticipated risks associated with this short survey.

If you are willing to participate, please click on the link below to begin the survey. Upon clicking on the provided link, you will be directed to the consent page prior to starting the survey. Consent is required to continue the survey. Those selecting disagree will automatically be taken to the end of the survey without being able to complete any survey questions.

This study has been approved by the Regis University Institutional Review Board. If you have questions or concerns about your rights as a research participant or have complaints about this study, please contact Alan Stark, Compliance Coordinator, at (303)459-4188.

If you have any questions about this research, please contact Kristen L Jagger, PT, MSPT, PhD, primary investigator, at [email protected] or (303)964-6032.
