Webinar: Supervising DPT Students in Telehealth

COVID-19 has impacted, and will continue to impact, all of us in a multitude of ways. Professionally, many of us have needed to adapt to providing clinical services remotely via telehealth. Clinical sites, both adult and pediatric sites, which previously hosted DPT students enthusiastically, have been faced with questions regarding how to not only deliver best care to their patients via telehealth, but also how to properly supervise and assist DPT students in meeting their educational benchmarks during their clinical education rotations.

Therefore, please join us for a collaborative event co-hosted by the Pediatric Special Interest Group (PSIG) and the Clinical Education Special Interest Group (CE SIG) on October 29th, 2020 at 6:30pm. We will review what makes a good telehealth session and what the current requirements are regarding supervision of DPT students via this delivery model, as well as suggest ideas on how CIs can support student clinical growth during these challenging times. Key speakers will include local PTs Christine Robenalt, Dyanna Rezac and Scott Rezac, as well as a panel of recent graduates from Regis who can speak about their experiences as students with telehealth. The event will include time for questions and discussion.
