Patty Pennell Noel, PT, ScD

Dr. Pennell-Noel is running for Vice President in the 2021 Board Elections. 

Dr. Patty Pennell-Noel has been a physical therapist for 28 years. She received her Master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Colorado 1992 and her Doctorate of Science through Texas Tech University in 2008. Patty has extensive training and experience in manual therapy of the spine and extremities. She owned a physical therapy practice for 21 years. Currently she continues to work at her former practice and is adjunct faculty for Regis University and provider physical therapy services for the United States Tennis Association. For the last 12 years Patty has been a primary instructor for trigger point dry needling.

Dr. Pennell has been a member of the APTA since 1992. She is committed to serving the profession and has had several leadership roles in the Colorado Chapter over the years including Private Practice SIG president, VP for the Colorado Chapter and House of Delegates.

Why do you want to serve in the above position?
Physical Therapy is a great profession and I am honored to be part of that profession. I am passionate about continuing to help the profession grow and mature. Having practiced in Colorado for over 30 years I a good knowledge of the professional and legislative landscape. I would like to be able to use that knowledge to help further our profession to a higher standard.

Why do you feel qualified to serve in the above position?
I have been honored to have served on the Colorado Board previously and would love to have another chance to serve. With my Chapter experience and being active in running a private practice, I feel I have a great skill set that will help me be an affective leader.
